At BPWA's annual meeting in October we voted to confirm two new board members, Stephanie Bodoff and Jane Andersen. Andersen, a retired civil engineer, will be our emergency services coordinator, and Bodoff will be our website coordinator. This month we've asked Stephanie to answer 3 questions for our newsletter community.

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself.
My name is Stephanie Bodoff. My husband and I moved to the Berkeley hills 3 1/2 years ago after having lived in the West Bay for 23 years. I recently retired from a career in technical communications for enterprise software, and I'm still figuring out how to use all my newly found time.

2. How did you become interested in Berkeley's paths?
We walk the paths near our house and in the greater East Bay several times a week for exercise and on errands to nearby shops. Here I am (pictured above) at the end of a walk at the bottom of Acacia Steps.

3. What do you hope to achieve/contribute as a BPWA board member?
I hope to use my technical skills to help to administer and improve the BPWA website.
