Love is in the air this month, so join the Pooches on the Paths crew as we explore some of the things we “puppy love” about Berkeley: its parks and paths! Leaders Figgy & Wally will take you on a leisurely stroll visiting 7 paths and 5 parks in the Thousand Oaks area of Berkeley. The two are hoping to show you a few places you might not know about, but will quickly fall in love with. The 2 hour route mainly consists of sidewalks, however there are a few paths with uneven footing and some uphill trekking. It will be just enough exercise to get you ready for a well-deserved biscuit and cookie break at John Hinkel Park. The walk open to everyone, whether you have a four-footed friend or not and feel free to bring a love poem to hang on the poetry wall on Yosemite Steps, which we’ll be visiting!
