Every year, the Wanderers plan a long walk. We skipped 2020 for obvious reasons, but it's not too late for 2021! And we planned a doozy! Join us for a 15-mile trek across our hometown! We'll start at the Marina and head to the highest point within Berkeley city limits on appropriately named Summit Rd. From there we'll hop into nearby Tilden Park for a picnic lunch and then loop our way back to the Marina on a different downhill route. We'll explore fun neighborhoods, beautiful parks, and, of course, many paths. Everyone is bound to make new discoveries on this long walk across town and see Berkeley with new eyes. Bring layers, hat, sunscreen, water, snacks, and a lunch and come prepared to be out for the whole day. We should be done about 5 or 5:30pm, depending on the pace of the group.
