Marin County's Belvedere Island has over a dozen stairways that crisscross its scenic hill community. Once up at the top, the sweeping views of San Francisco Bay will knock you out! Join us for this ~ 3-mile stair-climber of a field trip to explore a magical place. We'll trek up and down to cover every stairway (some are steep) — with gorgeous home- and garden-gawking included. You'll also love the path signs which are all charmingly hand-painted. We'll meet at Belvedere Park (restroom available) for this moderately strenuous walk. Please bring water, a sun hat, sturdy shoes, and your sense of adventure!
