To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the Berkeley Path Wanderers Association is holding a Path-a-thon. Three walks of varying lengths will depart from Live Oak Park:
At 9 a.m., a 7- mile walk finishing the every path in Berkeley series, led by current president Janet Byron.
At 10 a.m., a 4-mile walk, led by Bonnie Forer will head out.
At 10:30 a.m., a 1 ¾-mile stroll for those interested in a shorter ramble, led by Robert Johnson.
The three walks will converge at Live Oak Park, at the picnic area between Walnut and Spruce (near the Berkeley Art Center). The Berkeley Path Wanderers Association will provide refreshments, including pizza, drinks, and cake. Feel free to bring your own lunch and/or something to share.
A short program will begin at 1 p.m., with a proclamation for our 25th anniversary from Berkeley Vice Mayor Ben Bartlett and the awarding of pins to walkers who completed our Every Path in Berkeley series.
