I-Spy-A-Bear Bingo Walk

  • Sproul Hall Berkeley, CA, 94720 United States (map)

Leader: Sandy Friedland
Distance: 2 miles
Elevation gain: The route is paved with some gentle hills and a few streets to cross.
Accessibility: This walk is limited to 20 children. No dogs, please.
RSVP required: Please RSVP to Sandy at berkeleywalker@gmail.com by March 13 to reserve a spot. Include your child’s name and age.

Young Path Wanderers who have missed Sandy’s walking Bingo games have another chance! Sharp-eyed kids between the ages of four and eight will search for bears — plus a few other critters — on this walk through the "wilds" of the UC campus. Everyone will be a winner! The route has frequent stops, including one for refreshments. An adult must accompany every young bear spotter. Older kids can play a different version of the game, more like a scavenger hunt. They will get a Bingo card and a map of the route and then set off together, with an adult or two, to find the 25 animals on their card.
