Start the weekend off with an evening walk around beautiful Lake Merritt. In the evening, the skyline reflects in the water and the sidewalks bathe in the nice glow of the historic "Necklace of Lights." We'll go by the lake's wildlife refuge, the oldest in North America, where we're sure to run into night herons, pelicans, egrets, and cormorants. We'll walk at a leisurely pace to enjoy the sights and the conversation. We'll return to Lake Chalet at about 7:30 pm.
