A helper for Jacque

Note from Jane Johnston, Jacque Ensign’s daughter:

Mom is recovering and I would like to find someone to live in her home in the large, sunny, 320-square-foot furnished room upstairs with private bathroom; her bedroom and bathroom are on the main level. We have hired 24-hour care to start when we leave. However, for financial reasons and also to help Mom get back to her own life we are looking for someone to live here permanently. We were thinking of a work exchange; free rent in exchange for care. I anticipate that at first we would pay someone as her care needs are a bit more. But, honestly she is progressing every day. She starting walking short distances in the house 3 days ago. She is transferring in and out of bed, on and off the toilet or commode, and in and out of a chair or wheelchair with stand-by assist only for safety. She mostly needs help getting ready for bed, getting dressed and with meal preparation and clean-up. We would prefer a female or couple, non-smoker, no pets, fully vaccinated person.
