Hike up steep paths to the Selby Trail, to Grizzly Peak trail, to Volmer Peak trail (shown above), to Seaview, to Meadows Canyon, to Wildcat Gorge, to Selby and then back down paths to our starting point. Enjoy views and maybe some heat as summer winds down.

On this 11-mile strenuous and challenging hike, we’ll travel at about 2.5 miles an hour with 2,100 feet of climbing. Bring water and lunch or a snack to stop at a high point.
