Meet: Tilden Park Inspiration Point

Calling all the early risers for a sunrise hike in Tilden Park! The hike is 4.4-mile round-trip with 800ft elevation gain starting off IN THE DARK with the City lights twinkling in the distance. The route follows a mostly-paved, relatively easy trail with a steep hill on the last, unpaved 1/4 of a mile. We will reach our sunrise spot at Wildcat Peak about an hour into the hike and have a coffee break while we wait to greet the day. You can bring your own thermos, or help yourself to hot water and instant coffee and teas we'll have for the group.

Dress for cold weather (40's). Bring - water, breakfast/ snacks for yourself, warm layers, scarf, hat, gloves (it's usually windy and chilly on the ridge), and a headlamp/ flashlight or flashlight app.
