Pooches on the Paths: Thousand Oaks Parks (This walk was postponed from March 19th due to weather.)

Leader: Lynn Deregowski

Where:  NE corner of Solano Avenue and The Alameda

Distance and duration: just over 2 miles and 2 hours

(This walk was postponed from March 19th due to weather.)

As we continue to explore the 55+ parks Berkeley has to offer, this installment of Pooches on the Paths will cover the Thousand Oaks neighborhood. The route includes five parks, numerous paths, and some only-in-Berkeley yard and wall art. Whether you have a four-footed friend or not, everyone is welcome on this leisurely, convivial walk. We’ll stroll at an enjoyable pace, conducive for chatting, however there will be several older paths which have rugged, uneven inclines and/or steep steps. As always, we’ll have a biscuit break—for both humans and pooches—midway through.

The walk will cover just over two miles and last around 2 hours.
