Accessibility: Many stairs and some uneven trails. Well-behaved dogs on leash welcome but must bypass Rose Garden

Start off your weekend with a stairway hike in Oakland's beautiful Lakeshore and Grand Lake neighborhoods. This hilly hike packs a dozen paths in a 4-mile loop with winding streets, hidden parks, and a few surprises like murals and yard art. We will also visit Oakland’s Morcom Rose Garden, which rivals Berkeley's own with a water cascade (pictured), hidden paths, and majestic redwoods.  Join us!
