Accessibility: Moderate pace with pauses for historic and architectural asides. The walk includes some concrete and wooden steps and dirt paths. Well-behaved dogs on leash permitted.

We will explore an area of North Berkeley developed from the late 1800s that became a favorite of many UC professors. In addition to talking about some famous people who lived here and a bit of architecture we will of course explore several paths, a couple of which may be lesser known.
