Accessibility: Walk is not accessible for wheelchairs. Well behaved dogs on leash are welcome. Parking is generally available along Grizzly Peak. The 65 bus, which stops nearby, does not run on weekends. A restroom will be available before and after the walk.

This moderate walk is in Berkeley Woods which straddles the ridge at the top of the north Berkeley hills. We will have occasional views both east and west. There is some attractive architecture, varied street trees and some nice gardens as well as some fascinating bits of history we will touch on.

There are also two relatively unknown paths we will take but most walking will be on paved streets with no sidewalks (but not much traffic). There will be a moderate pace with lots of stops.
